I was fortunate enough to receive the Dean Koontz Book "A Big Little
Life", as a gift recently from Dean Koontz himself. It is such a wonderful
story, and his love for Trixie has blossomed into a series of various stories
and a wonderful website for fairy tale reading.
The 2012 Canine Calendars are here!
This year the calendar puts a New Orleans spin on
classic Fairy Tales. Our world is full of mystical,
magical, wonderful things. Rescuing fabulous furry
creatures is a reminder of the innocence, intelligence
and greatness on Earth.
Help us make some fairy tales come true for our
canine companions. Every penny taken in from
calendar sales is spent on the dogs. We take care of
their health issues, get them spayed or neutered and
give them a fun, safe environment while they are
waiting to be placed in their forever homes.

The Fairy Dog Mother
Thank You SATCHMO!
Mark Walsh and his wife, Kristine Kilkelly of Chicago, host an annual
house party for their dog Satchmo, who is a Hurricane Katrina
survivor. For the past five years "Krew of Satchmo" has raised
money for a charity in the New Orleans area.
This year we were fortunate enough to be the beneficiary of the
cause, and "Krew Of Satchmo" donated $1,900 to New Orleans Fairy
Tails. We feel very fortunate and honored to be this year's recipient.
We were able to rescue Roxi, an 8 week old St. Bernard mix, the
money was also used to spay two German Shepherd females, both
who happened to be named Bella. And the money was used to help
Max, a dog rescued from a street person, through heartworm
treatment. People like Mark and Kelly and their friends, and of
course Satchmo, make rescuing these dogs possible. Thank you,
thank you!!
Sincerely, Marita Jaeger
